AERC Inc. is the only source of Canadian Sorghum and Pearl Millet hybrids (grain,sugary for ethanol and forages). AERC Inc. is working to provide five new crops for Canadian farmers. These new hybrids provide farmers
with some real alternatives that were not available before. Alternatives
that put money back into the farmer's pocket. All of our new hybrids
have been successfully adapted and tested for the Canadian climate.
Research and development for these new crops have been in partnership with the research branch of
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada(AAFC); Ontario Ministry of Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA); Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Rural
Affairs, Quebec and other provincial ministries of Agriculture; the University of Guelph,
Ontario; Laval University at Quebec city, Quebec and McGill University of
Montreal, Quebec.
