AERC Inc. is a Canadian, bio-agro seed company specializing in the development of sorghum and pearl millet hybrids for both grain and forage.  Until now, all the sorghum and pearl millet varieties that were grown in Canada were U.S. varieties. Through extensive research, AERC has developed varieties and hybrids that can be grown under climatic conditions across Canada and in similar conditions worldwide.

AERC's professional staff is composed of trained and qualified agrologists with several years of experience in Asia, Africa, and the Americas. An experienced agrologist provides the company's management and leadership. Several experts in the field of genetics, plant breeding, biotechnology, plant protection, food & feed quality, financial management, marketing & trade, seed distribution, and environmental issues contribute to AERC operations. AERC widely disseminates important research findings to farmers and the seed industry. Efforts are on going to develop new hybrids and varieties with improved yield and quality of these crops.
